Mr. Kashif Anwar, President LCCI said that laws should be made for those who are not in the tax net and emphasized that agreements with IPPs should be renegotiated and to bring all

sectors including agriculture into the tax net. He urged the

government to review proposed normal tax regime for exports.

Mr. Omer Zaheer Meer, Chartered Accountant and Managing Director, Millennium Law & Corporate Company gave a detailed presentation on the Budget. Mr. Shahid Hassan Sheikh, Former President, Raja Hassan Akhtar, Mian Attiq ur Rehman, EC Members, Mian Abdul Razzaq, Malik Riaz Iqbal, Former EC Members and a significant number of the business community attended the seminar.
